Question about failing polygraph and still getting TS-SCI

They contacted me last week, I scheduled on Monday (6/22) for next week.

@Co0311 Iā€™m not authorized to give out that info - itā€™s classified.

@docsundaythanks for the input, I changed it

I feel jealous. I am waiting for the poly to be scheduled for almost 3 months since my BI completed.

Glad you realized that after you posted your full name and pictureā€¦

Iā€™m actually very shocked they got back to me so fast. I was told it wouldā€™ve taken weeks especially with the pandemic.

You know, I feel like if someone canā€™t figure out the simple things, maybe certain positions are not meant for that someoneā€¦ itā€™s COMMON SENSE people!

Nope nothing yet, still waiting

So you were given access to classified material before your clearance has been completed?

Going back to this, is this even a thing? I dont think you can get a clearance if you failed a poly, in fact I think you lose your clearance completely (doesnt matter if you have a Secret of TS). But can someone clarify?

My observation, no direct experience, is that failing a poly doesnā€™t always get your clearance revoked. Like most of the process, ā€œit dependsā€.

Normally an issue discovered in the poly was something the Subject hid or misled previous investigators. Personal Conduct is one of the quickest ways to lose your clearance.

Any update on this? Curious how long this drags out.
