I called last week to check my T5 investigation status and was told that my investigation was closed Oct 5th and we reopened again. Can someone please tell me the reasons for an investigation to be reopened after closing? is it bad? Any information will be appreciated really.
The reopening was probably because additional field work was required. That could be for any number of reasons.
can you give me examples of these reason and what is the timeframe ?
Most likely the adjudicator had one or two questions and wanted additional info or needed some clarification. It is also possible that the quality control/review at the investigation agency required additional info but I don’t think they would mark the investigation “complete” until that was completed.
