I recently had a conditional offer for an IC agency rescinded due to changing mission requirements. I called Scattered Castles and learned that my clearance is in the system but says “clearance terminated”. I’m reading mixed things, some saying that means it can be picked up and used within two years, and others saying there is a difference between “terminated” and “inactive.”
FWIW, I was told at one point that my background and clearance portion was done, so I don’t have any reason to think I wasn’t favorably adjudicated, and SC says it’s in the system.
