I got an offer from a government contractor (DOD). I am still working on my e-QIP. I heard tier 3 (secret level) clearance process was moving very fast at present. Can we share our timeline here?

Ah no lol. Not at all. A secret clearance is a mostly autonomous process. You won’t speak with an investigator unless there are issues with your case papers or case in general. Interim secret clearances are issued pretty easily too but in any matter you’re waiting it could take a while. My initial one for the Navy took 6 months. I had an interim with no issues and it just took a hot minute because adjudications takes 70000 years.
