I got a job contingent on getting secret clearance back in December 2022. It’s been 2 almost 3 months since I began the investigation, and I have no idea when it’ll be done. And I’m not sure if I will be cleared any time soon.
My question is, should I accept a different job while waiting for my investigation to complete or wait for the news and continue working at my part-time job?
It is not a bad idea to go on with your life while waiting, a lot of people do this. And these days when people seem to quit so frequently I don’t think it will be a problem.
