Hi,
I got a new job and filling up my SF-86 form for my secret clearance. While filling up the forms, I found out that my wife does not have Certificate of Naturalization (N-600) because she got her citizenship as “Derived” when her father became Citizen when she was under 18 years old.
My question now is, how should I put it in my form? She is US Citizen with valid passport and social security. Her dad has Certificate of Naturalization (N-600) as well. Will this affect my application?
I don’t mind getting her N600 but the wait times right now is more than a year. Please help.
