are you legit just waiting? like theyve done poly/psych/investigation and now youre just sitting in no mans land? im curious what the congressional office and recruiter are telling you at this point

There has not been any poly/psych/SI. They say the delay is due to foreign contacts

wth?! i have listed quite a few foreign contacts (prob around the ballpark of 20-30, though most ended up being unnecessary) and this did not pose any issue for me

Yep, for NSA. Any recs on contractors that will sponsor the clearance? Thanks in advance.

This is not normal. You should really look into a congressional inquiry

I wish I did, but unfortunately not.

Damn you NSA talent acquisition. Trolling me with a Hispanic Heritage Month email. Thought I had some news for a split second!

After over a year of no contact other than monthly recruiter emails, I got an email today asking follow up questions. This is about a month and a half after sending a congressional inquiry in. So, another vote in the maybe the congressional inquiry helps check box.

who emailed the follow up questions and what were they? (if you could share)

Office of personnel security and some basic follow up questions.

Meanwhile, I feel like the adjudicator who is supposed to review my file is basically the sloth dude from Zootopia.

There’s another sloth in front of him that distributes cases to the adjudicators   :joy:

Actually I shouldn’t make jokes like that, clearing the backlog in investigations has just moved the bottleneck to adjudications.

Well I was finally able to get in and pass the poly within the last month. Had to do it twice (as seems to be typical).

Congrats! Now for the infinite waiting game
