Received an EOD for my public trust/SF-85p fairly quickly it seems, since I only submitted it a couple weeks ago (within the month). I’m not clear on if this is considered an “interim” or not. Will there still be a subsequent investigation/could my contacts still be interviewed? Will I be notified of a full clearance/approval?
EOD means you can start work while your investigation continues. You have not received a final suitability determination. An EOD is similar, but not the same as an interim. An interim is applied to security clearances only, not public trust. While in EOD, you’ll be notified if you’re denied continuing the PERSEC process.
