I recently applied for a TSA Position in have made it to the background check. I am currently active duty in have a clearance that is still current how can I let them know that I’ve already had a background check and still have an Active Clearance or does that matter?
I wouldn’t worry about it. If you’ve already reached this stage of the hiring process you’re pretty much hired. You’re name will be on the list to be given a training start date.
IMHO, trying to provide information to them in order to help the process could end up impeding it. I could see a scenario where the hiring folks don’t know what to do with the information and then set your file aside until they know what to do with it. And, long story short, it just sits there in HR hiring process limbo.
