General inquiry that will benefit the blog…
If an agency or company initiates a TSC for you to the point where you are in the BI phase AND you get back in the reserves for a position that requires TSC clearance, then does this speed up your timeline, slow it down, or is there a greater chance of receiving an interim?

I vote yes. Since the military has more control over you than most employers have over their people, I think they are able to take a little more risk.

DoD does seem to move much faster than my client. Some get Secret clearances in a blink. My recent two applicants did not clear secret for 18 months.
