From the staffing company to me, “It seems you’re cleared, but unfortunately, the position in New York is currently on hold from the client’s side.” “They issue an interim clearance first, and then you receive the final clearance after the interview. You can start working with the interim clearance.”

From me to the staffing company, “Are you aware this process was cancelled as of 10th October?” [I learned about the problem because I began following up with Omniplex. On 22nd Oct., I left a voicemail message. On 29th Oct., I spoke to a person at Omniplex, and I was informed that the security review process had been cancelled and I was advised to follow-up.]

From the staffing company to me, “I am not aware. Not sure what happened.”

From the staffing company to me [a few hours later], “It seems you’re cleared, but unfortunately, the position in New York is currently on hold from the client’s side.” "They issue an interim clearance first, and then you receive the final clearance after the interview.
