When during an investigation is the poly scheduled?

Submitted sf-86 back in January, had an interview and references contacted in April. My BI told me he had finished his investigation and sent it for review. This is all for a TS/SCI. At what point do they schedule a poly? Everything I’ve read here points to the beginning, but neither I nor a friend of mine in the exact same position have been contacted to do one

After the SSBI, then SCI access.

Really depends on the sponsor, some do concurrent some do consecutive. Either way, polys are not fun.
