Working for a contractor with a public trust approval. I applied a secret cleance for a different job role. Received a denial today. The denial letter says that “DISCO is being instructed to revoke any security clearance you may have”. Does this mean they revoke my public trust as well? Will I lose my current job?
If the reasons for the clearance denial are also factors considered in suitability for a position then yes, it could mean an unfavorable suitability decision and removal from employment, They would have to provide you due process before taking that action though,
