If I have an active public trust clearance for my current job but I need a new one (Public Trust) for a new job, will the information for my active one be compared with the new one and will that make the process faster since I have an active one?
If you had an investigation done within the last 5 years and it was favorably adjudication then you should not have to undergo a new investigation unless: previous position was moderate risk but the new job is at high risk. Yes, a review of the previous investigation is a part of any new one.
