But I took the CI poly within the past month and it’s been on my mind. The examiner said I failed a certain section. I told them I answered truthfully and even asked if there was anything I needed to confess, but I didn’t have anything to add. They also mentioned my breathing was off, but I felt like I was breathing normally until they pointed it out. So we had to stop a couple of times and re do it again
At the end, they said I failed — is that even final? I thought it had to go through QC and an adjudicator first? I’ve got a clean background and was honest the whole time. They made me feel kind of dumb a couple times too, not sure if that was just part of their approach.
@Jake_Burton You are the same person as @Jake1990 , both accounts created in the past 24 hours. You posted the same question today here: CI Poly question
There is no need for multiple posts. If this is your first poly experience, understand that it is just a mind game to get to to make a disqualifying admission of some sort. The polygraphers don’t know anything and they just screw with you and accuse you to see if you crack. False accusations are standard operating procedure (SOP).
I had a CI poly last year, had my credit pulled and references contacted, and never heard a thing. I sit in adjudication for almost a year only to find out my job offer was rescinded. I never heard if I got my clearance and nobody will tell me a thing. I have moved on to a new uncleared job. This is the reality of this field and this is how U.S. tax dollars get wasted. Just move on with your life man. Polygraph is a joke.
