I believe similar level (low level) security is needed both for my current contractor job and the federal position. My current cac is still valid until June 2025. In case I will get an offer to the federal position with the same level of security clearance, do I need to get another ‘fingerprint’ check or just convert my cac id to the federal one at the badging office?
