So unimpressed with Peraton digital notes program. They provide one hour of training while still pushing productivity. Leaving it in the hands of the investigators to figure it …smh. Bring Angela Diebler back.
That was so incredibly frustrating. I did the training on a Thursday and then had to train a new hire the following Tuesday. The new hire had been learning how to do everything with handwritten notes…does this company have any actual foresight?
I also love how they have no heads up besides like a few days before, oh yeah we are going to digital notes now, good luck.
Can you correct or amend your digital notes later?
Agreed. RSI/CV issues are sometimes really old which is concerning. Yet here we are, race switching to ensure everyone immediately uses digital notes. Maybe we should focus on/master a real problem first?
This is not the first time they tried to do digital notes. But it wasn’t successful and here we are again trying to do it. I think they’re only trying to do that as part of the rebid because caci been doing digital notes. And how are you going to compete if you’re not doing digital notes. So all the investigators have to be on digital notes for the rebid so that you can act like the company is efficient. When you don’t even have a system/Platform that is functional enough for investigator to manifest on the same day.
I didn’t love the enotes at first but after living with them a while I find they speed the process up a lot. Having said that, CACI Policy is incapable of creating enote templates that are not full of useless extra information and formatting that is all over the place. It takes time to rework the template into something usable.
In the beginning of enotes, we lost some FIs that thought they could use AI to write ROIs and found out the hard way that this was a bad idea.
I love the theory of electronic notes, but their actual documents are so, so bad. It drives me bonkers to type in one section with normal font, the next section is blue font, the next section is bold italics, etc. Visual nightmare.
Yep it is so bad, the next question has move down to the next page it’s all jumble together. You trying to deal with all that while listening to a source or subject.
Smh
is it possible to just do handwritten notes like usual, then transfer the info into the digital notes so we don’t look so scattered during the interviews?
I’ve worked for both companies and Peraton’s digital notes are much better than CACIs. I do find them more efficient than written notes but agree they can definitely be improved . I think they will continue to get better. I can tell you Peraton’s systems are 10x better than the other vendor so I have faith that this is only the beginning with digital notes.
