I’ve come across a lot of evidence that a certain subset of 1099s has consistently been given work throughout this slow down in at least a couple different companies. I’m not so sure that it is based completely on performance but no one has been able to tell me what it is based on. Nor has anyone been able to tell me the percentage of 1099’s getting work (ie “the have’s”) and the percentage not getting work (ie “the have nots”). My contract says that the company is free to offer me work if they choose and I am free to accept or deny the work as I choose. So I guess I can’t complain about how they allocate the work. I just wish they would be a little more transparent so that I can decide if I should move on to something else.
Yeah Paragon was giving me TESIs here and there and now… nothing.
Same for 1F. Few cases here and there now slow again, but it is a nice hobby.
1F was giving me even less than Paragon. Had to dig for a TESI for a checkride.
Good to know. Sounds like CACI is fairer than Peraton about trickling work down to subs.
Work from both companies have suddenly come to a complete halt. Paragon claims they are expecting work in the upcoming month.
Heard yesterday DCSA middle management doesn’t know what’s going on.
Expect in one hand and crap in the other…
Has anyone receive any additional updates or communications regarding unpaid wages? Haven’t heard from Hannah in almost a month now…
Same ole, “checks in the mail” since December
Yea it’s been complete silence now. Hannah hasn’t even been sending out updates! Did anyone’s 1099 tax form for them include the income that was not received?
No my tax statement didn’t. Did yours? If so that would bring another level of violations to EMT Holdings.
Just like everyone else, I haven’t heard anything about the outstanding invoices. Guess the next step is collections and/or small claims. Not that it will amount to anything.
Wondering if any EMT investigators have taken any steps to get paid? Has anyone filed lawsuits or in small claims? Crickets since the last email in March telling us they will pay when they can and to not continue to email regularly for updates. What a joke!
I will be taking action in the next few weeks. I will be sending a certified letter with formal collection notice and past due invoices. Next will be a civil suite. EMT owes me thousands $$$.
Also owes me thousands. There’s 2 new lawsuits in addition to the RICO. I doubt we will ever see our money. CACI doesn’t seem to care which is crazy to me.
I felt the same! I was going to move forward with a civil suit as well but with all the legal issues they have going on. I feel I might never receive it irregardless. & me spending more $ to do that & possibly not get it anytime soon will only upset me further. Karma will turn them every way but loose on our behalf! ![]()
Have either of you @RZ24HR @FieldGoat reached out to Marcus personally for payment? Maybe we need to make more noise.
I actually emailed him directly and haven’t received any correspondence from him or payroll
Maybe a little “sunlight” would help you all. Maybe a reporter at a relevant news outlet? It appears Marcus and the company are Leesburg based. Maybe the Wash Post or one of the DC TV news “on your side “reporters. Scott Taylor, Susan Hogan, Joyce Sterman. Bad DC publicity can get govt contractors to cough up the funds.
Lollll you know what?..IDK why I didn’t think to get 7 on my side! ![]()
But seriously that definitely sounds like what we should’ve done. It does suck but I’ve kinda accepted it already and focusing on moving on without holding onto the anger. The universe works in mysterious ways and I’m sure we’ll all be blessed 10 fold for what was taken from us. I hope everyone has found some stability & trustworthy contracts at this point
