EMT Holdings - info?

Have any Investigators received payment on their outstanding EMT invoices? I was thinking about all the case work Marcus Treiber has received payment on from his customer (CACI) and chosen to simply not pay the Investigators who completed said case work. His lack of paying goes way beyond misuse of funds. He has stolen services. A huge amount of services. Why is he not getting criminally charged?

No payments…of course! But I did check online and there was another case pertaining to theft of funds and things you mentioned. Definitely Google him! lol I’m glad it’s public information. He may have gotten away with screwing us over for now. But everything eventually catches up to folks and I’m sure he’ll soon know the feeling of stressing about bills and income just like we did. I have a feeling that these cases are going to run him dry (if they haven’t already). Even filing a civil suit feels pointless now. He’s got too many ppl, lawyers & banks to pay & may end up in jail with those RICO charges.

So EMT holdings no longer exists? They haven’t paid their Investigators for work performed? Is this the same company that the old Peraton Director of Independent Contracts went to startup?

In answer to your 3rd question - Yes, it was Boaz.

I agree, I think he will end up filing bankruptcy. I know that the PMO team that left have filed lawsuits against EMT as well. I heard Boaz was filing in federal court, guess we will see. It was great while it lasted, but I am getting work again finally so we will see what the next 6 months look like. Thank goodness for other contracts and companies with DHS.

That’s Crazy!! But Boaz definitely has the right to take it as far as she wants! Not just for all the staff but also on her behalf because she’s literally the face of the company, which is so very unfortunate. That can be such a tarnish to her name and reputation in the industry, especially if she wasn’t involved.

& definitely see about Paragon. They’ve had me pretty busy and the transfer process was extremely quick and painless.

Are you still staying busy or has work slowed down?

May has been slow overall. But I’ve had work. Slow for me is like a lack of ESI’s. I personally hate getting a bunch of empl & record items unless it’s part of the full case. So I’ve had full cases but not as many. Those smaller items have kept me busy. Hopefully it’ll pick back up next month.

Nothing worse than working record and sources. You need work you can sink your teeth into and Subject Interviews is where the money is at for IC’s. Otherwise, you can’t make a living at this job.

Exactly! ESI’s are easier to me. It’s not as much ā€œrunning aroundā€ & trying to convince folks to answer the phone & agree to interview. But I’ll def take Sources over records any day. Sources add up pretty quickly honestly

Records are not worth our trouble. The vendors don’t pay anything for them. It’s abominable what the vendors pay for a record after all the work is done for a record. Calling the provider three to four times. Preparing paperwork and release within DoD Safe. Drafting and preparing an email for DoD Safe. Sending the password. It’s just absolutely abominable a vendor pays only $25.00 for a record. These record verifications can take a couple hours of our time or even longer if it’s a police record with several incident reports and arrests. Especially if that record contains derogatory information, we are working for $12.00/hour.

I don’t take records from the vendors unless they are going to give me a Subject Interview tied to that case. That’s the only way in which I’ll work records.

Exactly!! I only get records on full cases as well. I got rid of my fax line bc I’m basically not making a profit from records and just having an extra bill.

& you’re right. Far too much run around trying to get to record providers. :expressionless_face:

So is emt not hiring investigators anymore? I’ve just joined this forum and feel like a lot has happened the last few months. What is DMC I’ve never heard of them and are the rates any good? So did the management at emt go to DMC? Trying to follow along here.

EMT is still in business, but good luck getting paid. CACI is stepping in to pay all the investigators what EMT still owed to us, but talked to Jen Boaz yesterday and she said she and other PMO are still with nothing. She and Meekail went to DMC, another small sub under CACI, Hannah stayed and Lauren went to IDS I think.

DMC rates are about the same, no difference if remote or in person and pays on 1st/15th. I have been slammed with TESI. I have had to say no more work until I can catch my breath. Not a bad problem to have, but it is nerve-racking to see them pile up with only 5-6 days to clear.

Yes…I was so shocked to get the email that CACI is going to pay us. I knew things would work out somehow. I’m just grateful that they are stepping up to do so.

That’s great the investigators will get paid but what about emt? Will they be held accountable? Thats awful if they just get to resume business as normal

Super annoying the time tables are a touch too short
