I received an email saying that an FJO will be extended and an EOD date has been set. I was told by a recruiter that it will be a couple of weeks until I get the FJO letter. The EOD is over a month from today. Is this normal? I did get another degree while waiting for the clearance. So maybe that’s what the hold up is in the salary review ?
Is this for federal employment? Once HR gets the word from security that everything is done on your end, it still takes them a few weeks to get all their paperwork together. While it is possible they are reviewing your latest degree, this kind of delay is completely routine.

Thank you! I am a little stressed with deciding what to do with my current employer as far as resigning goes, but this puts my mind at ease.
Good on you. Both the degree and wanting to be careful with giving notice. Once you sign the offer…then give notice. Don’t be surprised if they walk you out that day. Companies can get cold n petty fast
