I recently had to submit an updated SF86 due to a CE hit which happened when I wasn’t on a DoD contract but I self reported to my agency at the time. I filled out the SF86 and then I was given a new CE date two days later but my case is still in pending status in DISS. I’m trying to make sense of this since I figured you would only get a new CE date if you were fully adjudicated or if there were no issues with the new SF86?

this is what i am SO confused about - same thing to me.
updated my SF86 for one account went to collections with no notice; took care of it.
“adjudication in progress” on my profile in DISS HOWEVER, I met with an investigator a YEAR LATER (3/25) when my new CE date is 9/24……………. at one point it closed but opened up AGAIN… and have YET to hear anything and its now 10/25….
When did you have to first fill out the updated SF86? Also when did it first flip to open status?
8/23 i reported it and told my SM that I paid it off immediately. then at some point I went into adjudication in progress and 9/24 is when it updated my CE date etc…
Ah. When did they originally close it out before reopening?
what do you mean by close ? like when did I get my new CE date?

I wish I could look myself up to give you the specific dates but I cannot
I just know when I reported it, when i updated my SF86, then it closed and I got a new CE date a year later and then got an interview with an investigator and its open again. . its frustrating
Ah. I know my CE date changed a few days submitting my SF86. I figured that was a good sign?
are you still in adjudication?
