I just had my Secret clearance from the Department of State (DOS) transferred to the Department of Defense (DOD) last Thursday, 09 May 2019.
How long does it take for DOD to update my clearance in JPAS? Remember, this is just a transfer, not a request for a new clearance.

Would you mind in letting us know how long that transfer itself took from DoS to DoD? I’m currently in the same boat where my transfer was INITIATED on 6/11 and am waiting for the transfer to complete. I hear the transfer itself can take 6-8 weeks or even longer due to the current staffing shortage and that sometimes it needs to even be re-initiated.
