My situation is not as bad as some others on this forum who are waiting (probably for a job). I have a salary and the customer is getting charged anyway. I’m thankful for what I have.
I have read a few posts on this forum that mentioned applications/adjudications go to (supposedly) “the bottom of the pile”. What factors might cause this “slippage”, if not an active downward push.
Uncooperative Subjects, Supervisors, Sources, developed issues/activities, missing required covenrage, delayed records.responses, etc.
There are many things the process doesn’t control. None of the slippage is intentional in the investigation process. Unfortunately, the days turn into weeks, and the weeks turn into months when they are added together during difficult cases.
