Would termination for holding outside employment while in the private sector (previous employments within 5 years) be generally a cause for denial of a Public Trust clearance? Assuming the best way forward is to list both jobs and be transparent, not just because its the right thing to do but also sets up everything for future renewals and higher clearances, if this one goes through.
Depends. Were they two separate employments or were you double charging your time? Fed takes a dim view towards timecard theft.
Separate employers in different lines of business and differing application of skillset. Different shifts for the longest time as well until reassignment.
I am trying to see if its worth giving it a try with the interview and clearance process or just stick to non-clearance. Lesson learnt obviously to not push the boundaries but here we are.
