Re-Adjudication Scenario

Hello, I have been reading over this website for a couple weeks now and was wondering if anybody has been in a similar scenario and potentially what to do next.

I started a job that requires TS/SCI in 2023 and received the clearance 13 months into the job. About a month went by and I had an incident that involved pulling the TS/SCI to DOD CAS around December 2024.

I do not know this process as it is quite unique but it’s still in its re-adjudication stage about 10 months later. I’m hoping its resolves soon, but I have been reading some of you have years on your hand here. Any advice? Thanks!

Is this really a re-adjudication or an adjudication of the incident (presumably a security violation)?

And what is CAS? These acronyms seem to change from time to time.

As far as I know it is in re-adjudication (review) at an independent investigation place. I believe it was called DOD CAF but now it might be CAS. (Consolidated Adjudicative Services).

It is not a new process of the clearance since the secret was kept but only a review of TS/SCI.

Interesting, you are probably correct as I believe the former DODCAF handles adjudications for many non-DoD (DoW?) agencies now.

Something must have happened after i learned about congressional inquiries in this forum. it was re-instated!
