Security Clearance investigation timelines

Last year I went through a Recruiter training at Boeing and I was told the following:

Investigation timelines:
Interim clearance determinations typically take 30 business days.
Confidential and Secret investigations typically take an average of 116-121 business days to complete.
Top Secret investigations typically take between 151-170 business days to complete.

Of course, business days do not include weekends or holidays.

Is this fairly accurate?

I think the best answer is “it depends” An interim can take 1 day to a week to I suppose 30 days but that seems a bit long as its often at the local level.

The others depend on how many residences, jobs, contacts and issues. etc. Also, how close sources are and how easy they are to reach and interview
