Waiting for the COR to give customer approval

I am carrying over a DoD TS/SCI to the DIA as a contractor. My security manager has told me that I have no issues security wise, and he is pending a response from the COR to get “customer approval.”

I have a poly that has been adjudicated and is in DISS, and I submitted my stuff (SF-86C, NDA, etc) around 1.5 months ago. I have no red-flags since getting my TS/SCI.

Should I assume that I am good to go with the SCI stuff?

Is this essentially an HR step at this point?

Trying to get a timeline so I know how far I am from starting work.

Given that I have gone through with other agencies but not DIA, and assuming it is the same process, I’m pretty sure it doesnt go to the COR (contracting officer representative) until security has approved it. Now you’re just waiting for somebody to log in to their account and then log in to whatever system they use, see there’s an action in their queue, and click approve. Hopefully they get around to this before the 3rd of July because they’ll probably get early release before the Fourth and not be coming in on the 5th.
