Who signs on the Witness and Acceptance portion for sci processing?

Wondering because I see the name and address of my employer under the Acceptance side with a blank area requiring signature and date and I had my sibling sign on the Witness side who lives with me. Also can you get an sci without the poly part? Any tips that won’t disqualify me?

Still a lot of positions requiring SCI that do not require a poly but the list seems to be getting shorter with each passing year.

As for tips that won’t disqualify you, well… even if you have something in your past that concerns you, better to disclose it up front than to try to hide it… if you disclose voluntarily you might be OK, but if they uncover it during the investigation (or the poly, if it comes to that) then you are pretty much sunk :frowning:
