Not waiting for adjudication…I’m waiting for SCI (almost a year) so I can access the facility. I started working for a contractor until I’m granted the SCI.
Just crossed the 400-day mark since SF-86 submission (for TS/SCI, DoD contractor so I assume no poly, at least no one’s ever mentioned a poly!) this summer… it’s annoying to wait, certainly. This is for a consulting gig though, so it hasn’t affected my day-to-day work. My employer (another DoD contractor) was very happy to have me take the consulting on the side because it’s not a direct competitor and they thought it would be useful to have me cleared.
Still, the wait is getting old.
I am reached the 400 plus Day mark. Investigation started in March 2017. It has been in adjudication since February 2018.
