I talked with someone who was on the Caci call. They said Caci announced their contract had been renewed and that whoever did not win would go to work for Caci as a contractor. Is this correct
Not at all what I heard. They had no news to share.

With the conflicting reports it makes it so you cannot trust anything said on here. I don’t think CACI announced that but i wasn’t on the call.

@dd55 That’s incorrect. I was on the 45 minute call and they did not say CACI was awarded the DCSA contract but are still very much in the competitive range (as with every other vendor.) Decision may take 2+ weeks.
Bottom line is, no news today.

I clocked that the call was over in 35 minutes (I guess you can add 10 minutes for the vomiting caused by the BS that was shoveled into my ear). My thoughts now wander towards, if awarded, what stick is CACI going to beat us with next (Re-bid, End of FY, Qrtlry PERF, PBA, etc. have been recent ones)??

That was the most ridiculous call. Everything they said meant to me “thank you thank you thank you and please hang around another two weeks while we fiddle with your future” Also, they almost sounded giddy about the potential of downpouring us with additional future work while no mention of possible raises come this September considering they screwed most of us out of raises last September.

Man oh man CACI sounds like hell on earth. I’d rather deliver pizza 80 hours a week then sell my soul to them if they win the re-bid…

That isn’t what was said at all, we just got a “we are competitive” and it’ll be a few weeks until we know for sure.

I work for CACI and I am hoping they lose the rebid! It is hell on earth and they will wholeheartedly deserve to lose the way they have treated us for the last couple of years. During Covid they put us through leave without pay, the insane Tier 1-4 category where we had to compete with each other and only Tier 1 people got work while the rest of us no work no pay, the decision to give most of us no raises last year despite inflation the highest its been in 40 years, and the constant whip on our backs for whatever work we did get to have it completed asap. And our review staff has gotten out of control. I don’t know how in the heck they are getting training but they are beyond picky and treat us investigators like doo doo. May karma come for CACI they way it did for USIS.

I’ve heard the same testimony from every single person I know who works / worked for them. Hopefully CACI does lose and all the people who deserve a good position get picked up by the winners and can breathe a sigh of relief. Hang in there everyone.

I am with you 100%. I also work for them, and I also have been hoping that they lose the re-bid. It is sad/comical that their own employees are hoping to be relieved of their jobs. That call was ridiculous, useless, and an embarrassment. “Leadership” in this company is the worst of the worst, and I hope that they are hiding amongst us on this forum and reading these messages.

I just left for these very reasons despite knowing my new vendor could just as easily be the one canned. Worth it.

Oh I bet they are! Even the guy at the end of the call mentioned how they are aware we find rumors on the internet then said we could contact him directly lol. I would love to have him explain his justification for treating us like dirt from his throne.
