Are Peraton and Paragon investigators experiencing connectivity issues with the VPN and that other system we use??? CACI has been having problems all week……
Peraton seems confident. I’m over here and I’m very happy with the leadership and environment. I’ve been with a few vendors and through lots of leadership like others on here. There are the usual stressors but leadership seems to listen to us.
If you search the GAO website, it appears as though Paragon (Securitas) has put in a bid protest, meaning that, at this point, they were not awarded the contract. Of course, they have the opportunity now to protest that, which they are. Otherwise, no news.
Rumor is Paragon(SCIS) and Pareton had an agreement in which they would become the sub -prime contractor to Peraton assuming they won the rebid. DCSA denied this action which has resulted in the protest being filed.
Allegedly the official DCSA announcement was scheduled for last week, but has been withheld pending the protest outcome. Either way, both CACI and Peraton appear to both be assuming they are the winners and openly targeting Paragon FIS for hiring.
I Find it funny that all the CACI folks here were bashing their company and how much they dislike it. But what about now? How many CACI FI would recommend Paragon employees coming over with you?
I would not recommend CACI to any FI (from any company). I have worked for KGS/Perspecta and would say that it really depends on who your manager is and what pay you are offered. Just my 2 cents worth.
As a long time employee with CACI that has worked both in the field and in a few other roles, I would never recommend them to anyone for any reason. FI’s are absolutely nothing but money making prawns to upper management.
That being said, people got to work. If you are stuck in the industry you got to move over. I was full time with Peraton, but quit early 2022 to be an IC. Now work for Peraton and Paragon. Guess I will have to pick up CACI, but (from what I hear) working for them as a an IC isnt the best.
This is true. I left KeyPoint in 2015 because CACI offered me more money. Needless to say, I left CACI after only 3 months because of the toxic and underappreciated culture. Thank God KeyPoint took me back.
Per the US Government Accountability website, Paragon/SCIS has protested both solicitations meaning they were not awarded the contract. Protests have to be resolved within 100 days and the contract cannot be awarded to anyone until then.
