Hopefully some good news for those waiting to be adjudicated or on the cleared candidate list.
I see. According to Trusted Workforce 2.0 | Performance.gov
seems like the average 90% processing time for TS is around 148 days. Is yours a reinvestigation or initiation? Mine is already over 150 days… It seems like still in the normal range?
Initial, and mine was secret. I got it after like 580 days, can’t remember.
oh wow. So it is way off to the median days they posted… Good to know.
Yeah it’s only fastest 90th percentile, which is not the same as fastest 90%.
Where does it say 90th percentile?
In literally all the reports.
Whenever a government agency (DCSA now, used to be OPM) releases statistics on how long investigations take, they always refer to “the fastest 90% of cases” for the given timelines.
Those statistics never seem to correspond to real world experiences though
well, I called to get an update on my clearance process and was told I’m no longer processing. which means for some reason I didn’t get my clearance approved? weird because my only jobs have been with the federal government where I currently hold two clearances. no arrests, no social media, no foreign contacts, no negative job reviews, some debt but almost paid off. best of luck my dudes …
Is this for maryland agency? Who did you call to find this out?
Hey all. After waiting, finally got FJO from Maryland agency today. My timeline is somewhere in this thread. Wishing you all the best of luck!
Nice! How was the grade/step compared to CJO?
Congrats! When do you start?
Sorry to hear that, hopefully something even better comes your way.
Congrats! Random question, did you have to send anything further for psych after your interview?
Have you still not heard from that agency?
No it was the other one
Nope, nothing from them.
For those of you that are on the Cleared Candidate List. I was originally told that they would stop your processing (removed from CCL) if you interviewed for a position and they decided not to give you an FJO. That said, I recently found out that if you interview for a position and they do not move forward with an FJO, you WILL remain on the CCL until you receive a FJO or your suitability expires.
The only way you can be removed from the the CCL is if you receive a FJO and you decline it/suitability expires.
When did you start the process?
